Flexible ways to pay at SmartGear NZ
Available payment methods can vary by order, checkout and provider eligibility. The payment options currently promoted by SmartGear NZ include Afterpay, Zip and Klarna, alongside standard checkout payment methods and WINZ quoting where applicable.
Afterpay
Afterpay can be selected on eligible orders where it is offered at checkout. Approval, limits, repayments and account terms are determined by Afterpay.
Zip
Zip is available on eligible SmartGear purchases where shown at checkout. Approval, limits, repayments and provider terms are determined by Zip.
Klarna
Klarna may be available for eligible purchases where displayed at checkout. Approval and payment-plan terms are managed by Klarna.
WINZ quotes
If you need a device quote for Work and Income, use our WINZ Quotes service. A WINZ quote is separate from Buy Now Pay Later approval and does not itself guarantee funding.

Standard payment methods shown during checkout remain available according to the order and Shopify checkout configuration. For appointment-based pickup or another payment question, contact SmartGear NZ before travelling.
Using Buy Now Pay Later
Buy Now Pay Later is a form of credit. Provider eligibility, credit checks, fees for missed payments and other terms can change, so review the provider’s current terms before confirming a purchase.
